Hi Folks. Well, the time is just about here. I've owned and sailed Peregrine on Lake Jacomo outside of Kansas City for exactly 20 years, but I'm aging out. Arthritis has fully kicked in, and it's kicking my butt! She's a wing keel, condition 8 out of 10, with two headsails (90, 120), first pull/always starts Tohatsu 5 hp with a 2 y/o impeller, a nice standing-headroom bimini, a custom-built two axle trailer, stereo amp and speakers, ST-40 speedo and sounder, redone fabric headliner, excellent condition deep blue cushions, custom fold-up table extension beside the sink, opening cockpit port installed in the back berth, original 2 burner Origo, 2 batteries and switch relocated up front, and she has the spreader collar bracket upgrade. Hull #340, 1991. Last year's ablative bottom paint is good, over Interlux barrier coat (no blisters ever!). Currently on the hard in Lees Summit MO (April '24) awaiting the install of a fresh motor mount, then to be splashed in May and offered up locally. But... you guys are great and have helped me out before, so I thought I'd throw it out here first, you know, keep it in the family. It's an '8' (not a 10) because there's crazing on the forward hatch and the head bowl has a small crack (but a brand new pump, so no issues!). Hull is sound, main and some running rigging could be refreshed (all standing rigging is checked and good!), the table varnished, and the trailer could use a paint job, but that all is why she's available for $10k, not the $14 or $16k I've seen out there. She's absolutely not a fixer-upper! Peregrine sails brilliantly, has always been maintained, always pulled at season's end and fully tarped in the winter, with the hull waxed and the bottom painted every spring. Great boat; I just can't do what I used to do anymore. So, sadly, sailing will have to go the way of my motorcycle racing and ski jumping. Let me know if there's interest, and I'll have pictures available. But you won't be surprised by them; she looks just like a happy little F235. I expect her to sell this spring, so speak up if there's interest! - mike.joseph @ sbcglobal. net.
