1988 First 235 in CA that could be a fin based on the draft spec. Best to double check this one because you often get wings mistakenly identified, especially post 87. Comes with Honda 4S 5hp.
Asking 16.5K

Hey, that's Tim Hill's boat. I just heard from a friend who crews for me that he saw the boat for sale. Hadn't heard from Tim in a long while. _________________ Jeff Burne - Pegasus

I was in the Marina yesterday and saw the boat still in the slip. Not sure if it was sold. _________________ Jeff Burne - Pegasus

I checked with the broker the other day, and yes she's still for sale. The main is 2 years old, and the other sails are apparently original. She's equipped with spinnaker gear. The 5-hp Honda 4-stroke appears to be the 20" shaft version. She looks really nice in the photos.
The hull number is #307, Liberty series #30. That info from the database and previous postings. The current owner has posted about 35 times.
The price is on the high side, but it's within the range of what has sold in the last 2 years (according to Yacht World the high in the last 2 years is $19k and the low $4.5k).
I'd make an offer, but to keep the home front happy I think we'll be chartering only for another year. So, I'll continue to lurk on this site as a non-owner for a while. You people have done an incredible job in convincing me this is the right boat.

John,
I see you live in North Vancouver. If you feel like sailing a F235 one of these days send me a PM and we'll organise something. There are two boats in the Vancouver area: Ian's Witch of Endor, and my Idefix. _________________ Boudewijn
