You were on a helluva roll until the Al Franken comparison....heh. If anything, ole Al adheres to the tenet that the world in its current political plight is going down with a ship akin to a French cutter with a Silverback Ape at the helm.

How you wove in Homeland Security, Yacht manufacturer, Wine Making, and slave trade is a wonder and only possible in the modern method of communication we now call "FORUMS" or "FOX NEWS".

Strangely enough, the above might just have a better chance of selling Pura Vida if you had thrown in a line about the head/nav station!

ah!, but listen closely to his 'reasoned' solutions.

as to the nav/head, one can only say that it's duality is buttressed by the fact that, in either mode, one faces away from one's intended functionality.

So There! even an alusion to French Gothic architecture wrapped in a pun.

Kelly
glad I still can believe my eyes ;-)
what would you recommend to do about the sale?
7900.- would be reasonable price for me because I have to bring her over to Germany... 9.900.- would be out of range. I dont know how Americans deal with things like that. In Germany I would say: ok, you once offered her for 7.900 so I know you can do for that price, I wont pay no more!

Thanks for your help

Dirk

Well, have you contacted the broker email at the site? Tell her you were prepared to offer the price that was listed the last two months on the site you had bookmarked. You live in GER and need to pay shipping and arrangements and that price was reasonable. Indeed, you had already begun some arrangements for the details from your end. Start a dialog and see what she says. The OWNER of the boat is actually a member here as well and can be contacted via forum email.

Perhaps he is sailing the boat now that it's summer which might explain the price increase.

I am the LAST to ask on this issue. Perhaps someone will know here but doubt it. I'll ask my brother who has experience in shipping boats and has lived overseas. Otherwise, it's back to the research treadmill I'm afraid.
