Kelly, the woodwork seems to be better than average, but I don't know about that headliner (see nav station pictures.) Also, in one section of the ad it says wing keel, elsewhere it says fin. Maybe it's a stuck wing? :-) Aha! Maybe that's why he's getting rid of it after having it less than a year. The headliner I suppose will be a problem with any of these boats (they are getting up there in yrs & it's to be expected even without the problem with adhesives Beneteau evidently had.) I have a question for you: what is the material used for the galley/head sole on these boats? Is that vinyl sheeting? Great website- especially helpful for prospective buyers like me. |

It is not the adhesive used with the headliners but the foam rotting away that causes them to fall. This is common on boats with foam-backed vinyl headliners.
The sole in the galley is gelcoat/fiberglass. The head has a small piece of wood set in over the fiberglass to create a flat level area. This piece of wood is easily lifted out. _________________ Dan

I have a friend who had a problem with Beneteau headliner foam. he simply got a STRONG vacuum cleaner to suck off all of the black foam crud and then re-glued... Don't know if it works, but...........? |

Well, I placed the link with the pics and contact info above in the first post. If I were you, I'd take a look and give a call to see where it stands. I dont think it's sold yet as I havent had any mails or PMs to indicate otherwise.
