Hmm, crowding in on my "I need a boat and I'm from the west coast" I see.
Just kidding. Welcome to the forum. I'm from the west coast as well (North West Actually) in Northern Alberta. I've found quite a few helpful suggestions and tips. And I was also saved from buying and ugly boat. |

Yes, west coast may have been a slight misrepresentation. I am in Northern Alberta nd get to sail on the 'might' lac la biche lake. I have always love Beneteau's and need something that is moderately trailerable. I have no boat as of yet. I almost had one on Monday though. |

So, you missed one? You said because of the forum, you didn't buy an ugly boat?
What was ugly about it?? Where was it?? How many have you tried to buy??
The don't seem to come up very often, especially in the west.
Has anyone seen many in the west?? _________________ Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away! |

yes. we are quite evangelical about the F235, aren't we.
there are the saved (owners) and
the condemned (non-owners) and
and those actively seeking salvation (buyers)
the doors are open 24/7 for those who seek help. _________________ Mike Hayden

Hi coopski
check this forun thread for a link to an F235 that was for sale in Bellingham, WA in June:
http://beneteau235.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=677
It's now listed as 'sale pending' but sales sometimes fall through - check with the broker. _________________ Neil Quigley

Yes, I saw that ad for the boat in Bellingham, but it has a fin keel. Yes I know I'm being picky but I only have about 3.5' of water at my dock :{ Of course it could be possible to do a little "midnight dredging" but it would be ANOTHER annual maintanence item. We need to keep these to a minimum ............................so we have time to SAIL!!!!!!!
The other factor would be ease of trailering and keeping the center of gravity low as well as launch ramp issues.
Anyone do much Trailor Sailoring with this boat?? Would love to take the boat (if I ever find one} to San Francisco Bay or to the San Juan's or to LA and Catalina Island or to Mexico or to.....................well you get the idea!! _________________ Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away! |
