Nice boat actually. This will go for a very good price I am betting. Nice bottom and keel too. The fin keels just looks so much better than the wing, especially when all bathed in white.
The cushions are a bit of a horror but drinking might help. Still, it looks to be a clean boat.
This thing about trailers needing to be built to tow 5k is really disappointing. It's simply not true as this boat is not that bad to tow. My trailer that was made for it is not that much heavier than the one in this picture and it does fine. People are riding around in massive SUVs and pickups that could tow a small house. The guys in EU are towing their F235 with Audis, BMWs, and VWs ....

Thanks for the link. That is very close to what my trailer will look like when I finish modifying it although I have not decided yet between using bunks or just individual pads on the hull supports. I have a wing keel so my rig will be shorter and I also plan to add keel guides to center the boat when loading at boat ramps. The trailer in these pictures is plenty strong for the F235, although it should have some kind of support under the bow of the boat. I have seen many Catalina 22's, which weigh more, on single axle trailers. As long as the trailer has a 3500 lb or more axle it should be fine. _________________ Dan

Sorry to hear you missed it, Dirk! Actually, looking at prices in EU, it's cheaper to buy here and ship if the right deal comes along. That looked like a nice boat as well. Keep an eye open for more coming up.

thats exactly what I´m planning.
I will then probably ask for support be it for transport to a port, getting a shipping quote or just having your opinion on a certain boat or closing the deal.
Thx & best regards

Need more details. Some second chance offers can be good but many can be bad too, depending. Much obviously depends on the circumstances. You lose protection from anything ebay has to offer outside the guidelines which is why they warned you.
What are the details? _________________ Kelly Holsten abstrait

Email the seller DIRECTLY through the auction first (or an email address you have traded info with him already) and NOT the address given in this email. UP front, how do you know this is the real guy's address? If you have shared emails wth the owner direct as this auction went along, you need to find out if this is a valid offer by direct contact. These things CAN be scams as well. Contact the seller/owner of the boat to see what is up.

Anyone know why the previous (completed) auction of this boat fell through? Anyway, the new auction for Quixotic is heating up, with several bidders pushing up the price, and we're still five days from the end! One of our forum members was in the running initially, but has retracted his bid.
It'll be interesting to see how high this one goes. I'll wager (nature and sizer of wager not specified) it'll top out at about 8K. Any others want a piece of this? _________________ Neil Quigley
