This is a "trade only" sale. Jon could have traded him his old Rhodes Meridian! heh....
Think this is Bill Bohls "Carrie Lou", hull #445, our latest registered First 235. Man, is ole Bill going to be surprised when he starts to have leaks through toerails, portlights, etc etc. Granted, I am also a sucker for a classic shape but you also inherit the classic old boat issues, many that seem to escape the First 235. My friend's Santana 22 is a miasma of leaks and issues compared to ye olde First 235. Some in his list are not the most appealing, either.
Bill, what's up?! You've gone loco in Tejas! _________________ Kelly Holsten abstrait

Not sure if this is Bill who is selling -- just emailed the ad poster asking that I am interested in the bimini top. I heard a "no" in response from a gentleman named David Malerba. New owner /agent /different boat? _________________ Blazej Cichy

If all goes to plan, my buddy John will be trading his Capri 22 for this 235; they have already agreed in principal. Seems the current owner wants a boat with a bigger cockpit and less cabin. He has owned a Capri 18 and a Capri 25, so he is happy with the arrangement. John understandably is over the moon. It helps that his C22 is MINT.
This will bring 3 235 for Lake Harriet, not bad for 350 acres of water! I bet that is the highest density of 235s in the world!! _________________ Clay Babcock

There were something crazy like 11 or 12 on Lake Norman, NC. Not sure how many are left as some went West and North. _________________ Kelly Holsten abstrait

In an amazing piece of serendipity, John's Capri 22 fit almost exactly on my 235 bunk trailer. The 235 has a deeper winged keel, but is also beamier, so the C22 sat deeper in the bunks. Almost a straight drive-off. John is using my trailer to deliver the C22 then the shag the 235 from TX. He'll attempt to mod his trailer when he gets back. In any case, on the water for next weekend!
