1. Save your pic in your hard drive making sure it's not larger than 1000px wide. Try to save it so it's less than 60-80kb in file size. Remember the folder it's in. Have no way to resize? Download the free photo editor, IrfanView at http://www.irfanview.com/
2. Go to www.tinypic.com and hit the UPLOAD IMAGES button. EDIT: I would also now consider FLICKR ( www.flickr.com ) as a site for photos over places like photobucket.
3. "Browse" & Find your image on your Hard Drive - Hit Upload
4. Go to the IMG Link: for forums and bulletin boards option, click the COPY button and it's automatically saved to your clipboard.
5. Return to forum post - Just right click and "PASTE" that entire line with a space above and below in your post where you desire your photo.
That's it. Remember, you can preview your post before entering. Also, you can EDIT your post if you find errors.
NOTE: The ultimate option would be to post the photo on your own server space as most providers actually give you some free space for this ie Earthlink, AOL, etc. The reason? Who knows how long tinypic will be around and if it ever DID go down, then we would have many a photo with a big red X for "broken link" (they would be lost). If you DO have space with your provider, try setting it up and using it for your personal photos. There are directions on the provider's webpage. In that case, you would copy the link to the location of your photo on your space, paste in the forum, and then highlight and click the Img button above. That places the img tags on either end of the link.
Lastly, if you are still having problems, feel free to mail me the photo and I will post it. Contact me via PM and I'll be happy to help. _________________ Kelly Holsten abstrait
