Boat is in good condition, well goomed and comes with some new equipment. It is the fixed keel version. One of the latest ones built in Europe. Factured in 1994. Additonal to the boat there is a 2.7to trailer and a 8hp outboard included.
The sails are in good condition too. It is ready for sail at once. The boat is situated in the Netherlands on the Ijsselmeer for the summer.

Dirk, this boat is a later model than most here and perhaps comes with trailer (although it's unclear to me). You might save some money with a US boat but when you add in the complete headache package with shipping, possible flying here, and taxes, handling, the costs in tangibles and intangibles starts to become more equal, especially since you're from Germany. I'd say do some negotiating on this first or at least take a look. This might be an extremely nice boat. Perhaps some pics will be posted from Thomas with so more info.
On a side note, forum member CJK just boat a US boat in June and is waiting for it to come out of customs after trucking it to NY and sending it over. US handling ended up being more expensive than he thought. Trailer was not in great condition, hence the trucking. He did note that shipping and everything has gone ok so far.

He'll add his experiences and pics soon. _________________ Kelly Holsten abstrait

Hi together!
I have changed my decision to sell the boat. That change of thinking was made already in the end of last summer. I think I will keep hold of it for at least one more season. It´s realy a very nice boat.
Sorry that I have not informed you for monts.
Best regards

HI Thomas
Around next season I will be looking around for a larger boaty, moving up from sailing dinghies. The First 235 looks like a great boat. My parents had the First 285 and this was also a great boat.
If you decide to sell next season, please let me know. I will send you my email address as a private message.
regards
James |
