Our well loved but lightly used 1990 Beneteau First 235 is offered for sale. This fresh water boat is in very good condition. It is well-equiped and set up for single-handing with tillerpilot and solar panel charging system. Owners and readers of this forum know the F235 to be a lively, but family friendly, pocket racer/cruiser delivering a big boat feel in an easy to manage package.

Details/Photos on Hull #384 can be found at:

Or contact Ken at jkw_mew@bellsouth.net

I dont know why Ken doesnt put his site on his own ISP space. He's actually got about 80MB of free space sans ads or any chance it will be cut off, this via Earthlink. Takes about 5 minutes to setup with no help.

Then you ought to update your email address here so people can contact you via the forum email if interested (it's hidden to people outside the forum and the address is hidden to the forum members as well).

I'm not sure if Bell South gives space. TAke a look. Many do.

Please see edits. Geocities link sometimes works better on second click.

A couple of folks have asked about any available trailers, one to deliver to PA. Other wanting to purchase trailer to keep in CO. If you have a trailer available for sale or lease, please post or let me know directly.

My (relatively non sailing) wife got teary eyed last night when I told her of my first inquiry on the boat. After we cleaned it up a bit (just before the yellow pollen let loose), I think she began to hope it would just live on forever at the dock, a sort of high-priced ornament. We had shopped well and the F235 is the great boat we had hoped it would be. Indeed, this one is soooo lightly used it hurts to think of the price per sail. However, if you average visits to the 235 Forums in with actual sailing adventures, the cost seems more acceptable--I've lurked a lot!

Thanks for the past (and future) feedback on the site, even from Jon.

I'm a little surprised that I haven't seen more action from this site on a 235 for sale. Any advice from those of you who have bought or sold a boat recently about what would help it move? The lack of a trailer may be slowing traffic, but it it's something in the advertising style, need for more information, etc., please let me know. The Beneteau First 235, in general, and At Whitt's End, in particular, is a great boat and deserves a good home!

It might help to have interior pictures especially for those who are not familiar with the interior of our boats.

I should post that in Ken's ad...

that anyone that buys this boat would get a free Trailer use to the LOCCR where someone will help set it up and give them the ins and outs of the First 235. They could then sail with a bunch of other F235 fiends on Ontario. And if they didnt live too far, borrow the trailer again to get home.

How could anyone pass THAT up???

Beneteau First 235 #384 is now sold, with transport being arranged to Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

New owners have owned a Beneteau in the past, and, I believe, will provide a good home for my Baby Ben.

It's a bittersweet moment, selling such a great boat. These forums rank near the top of my list of advantages for owning a Beneteau First 235. I suspect I'll lurk for a while longer before Kelly pulls the plug on my "owner" status.

Anyway, y'all take care, and enjoy Lake Loon's 2006 Summer Premier Beneteau First 235 Sailing and Racing Extravaganza....

Ken

I have enough of a problem remembering LOOCR let alone anything loon'ger !!

I'm sure that you'll be allowed to lurk etc - we still hear from Pastor Tom and other ex-owners so please stick around.

Just because you don't own one anymore does not mean that you suddenly stop being one of the valuable resources that persuaded me to buy a baby ben in the first place.
