Folly Beach, South Carolina
Was driving down Folly Beach, SC looking around and suddenly came upon a
First 235 sitting forlorn on a trailer.
There is something about coming upon a First 235 that's such a shock. You
just rarely see them so when one pops up,
you are always taken aback. I knew of one other First 235 in Charleston area
and I found mine here years ago.
Looked like it had been sitting there a long time. The trailer tires were
flat, one side of the boat was blue, the other white.
Was covered in Lichen in spots. The rear portlight was missing. The mast was
there at least.
Wondering if it will ever float on the water again. Hoping to find the owner
at some point.|
