Photos (2010)

• Origo gimbaled 2-burner alcohol stove
• Sink with manual pump
• Ice box
• Standard Horizon VHF radio
• Plastimo depthsounder / knotmeter
• 12 volt gel house battery ~3 years old
• Digital voltmeter
• Masthead tri-color nav light.
• 7/8 fractional rig approx.30 ft.
• Tiller steering with tiller extension.
• 2 Lewmar 16 self-tailing sheet winches, serviced last year
• Wing keel - stripped to metal and barrier coated
• Fortress anchor w/ chain/line rode
• Swim/boarding ladder
• Cockpit mounted bilge pump
• Mainsail, 100% jib

LOA: 23'
Beam: 8'2"
LWL: 20'3"
Draft: 2'9" wing keel
Displacement: 2310
Ballast: 937 lbs.
Engine : 8 hp Honda 2001 4-stroke, long shaft
Fuel tank: 3 gallon (portable)
Water tank: approx.10 gal. (deck fill)
Holding tank: approx.16 gal.? (deck pump out)

Good stuff:
- New halyards summer '11
- Full professional detail summer '11
- Survey done summer'10 (can provide)
- Bottom paint (petit ablative) summer'11
- Lots of little doohickeys and extras
- Clean (NJ) title
- Winches serviced summer'11
- Gudgeons and stern rail rebedded '11 (to fix moisture issue in quarter berth)
- Outboard serviced summer'11

Not so good stuff:
- Headliner is in poor condition especially on the port side and needs to be replaced. Worse than in pictures.
- No cockpit compass.
- Custom solid teak weatherboard needs varnish ext. side
- No cushions. I sent them away for cleaning and was unhappy with the result (odor), and was planning on having new ones made but never got around to it.
- Rudder is very sloppy. Needs work before sailing it on rough waters (especially if you plan on sailing it out of New York harbor.)
- Outboard is 11 years old and needs maintenance (seems to need maintenance every season to get it running again)
- Currently in storage yard in Jersey City (hauled out in fall'11)

Bargain basement priced for quick sale, as I'm moving away in 5 weeks and would rather sell it to an enthusiast instead of donating it (which I will do if it doesn't sell).

PM me here if interested.

From afar, one of the all-time best deals since I got MINE for the best deal to date. This is a steal even if just an average First 235.

I think I had this one beat, deal wise.

But with peachy ones trading in the 12K region, sweat equity can pay off here in spades. A smokin' deal.
