Hey gang-

Celestial is for sale. She's a 1989 F235, hull number 273.

We've kept her like new for the 10 years we've owned her, and better yet, all the standard 235 nuisance fixes have been done! ;) All the coachroof Beneteau decals were replaced in 2004. Teak restained in 2004. Drinking water tank replaced in 2004. Side window seals replaced in 2002.

Located on Lake Lanier, near Atlanta, GA. Full details and pictures on her website at
http://www.kupiec.net

Celestial is offered at $12,900

Dave and Susanne Kupiec

I have to say, that is an extremely nice F235. I'm sure you wont have any trouble selling her.

Thanks Jon- not now anyhow. Long story, but some setbacks at my job, combined with my wife starting a new career, have more or less forced this decision. In any case, we know we'll be using Celestial less, not more, and she deserves better.

Best regards,

Dave

Hi Ash-

Alas, no. But if it's just a one-time move you need, it seems like I read in the Trailering section of a number of loan, rent, options, etc.

Best regards,

Dave

Here is a direct link to the photos. The exterior of DAve's boat is about as nice as it gets. Actually a very clean boat inside and out. You can run through the shots in order if desired.

Kelly-

Thanks for the kind words! And while I'm admittedly biased, I must also say that Celestial's interior is about as nice as it gets too! ;)

No- on second thought, both her exterior and interior ARE as nice as it gets! ;)

Hey gang-

A number of potential buyers have asked me to keep an eye out for a trailer to borrow or rent. If you know of anything, I've posted a thread in the trailering section at
http://beneteau235.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=696

Thanks!

Hey gang-

Just wanted to let everyone know Celestial is sold.

Things moved along more quickly than we'd expected, and Susanne and I were lucky to be able to get a day off together for one last sail this past week. Georgia winds were light and fluky, as they are want to be in summer on Lanier, but it was wonderful nonetheless.

Susanne has dutifully kept a log of our days aboard Celestial since we bought her in 1995. And what a priceless keepsake that has turned out to be. I'm not talking things like Lat/Long and millibars, like a passage-makers log. But things like places we anchored, friends aboard or rafted up, and all the little memories that made Celestial part of our family.

And so we spent our last day aboard Celestial reading and recalling the wonderful times and adventures we'd shared. There was plenty of laughter, and yes, tears too.

But Celestial has gone to a wonderful family, and I believe she's about to start an exciting new chapter of her own!

Thanks to all of you for your support and camaraderie!

Fair winds to all!

Dave and Susanne

Glad it worked out, Dave. Keep in touch and hope a few F235 remain at Lake Lanier.

Thanks, Dave. Good to see this boat get some attention it deserves as it's such a unique boat, especially in this size range. I think the F235 was ahead of its time to boot. Also nice to see previous owners pass the enthusiasm on to the next generation watching the excitement as it spreads.
