This burns me up... Wife hates to sail, and finally convinces hubby to dump the 235. She writes the add. Doesn't know crap about the sails, but hey, she's redoing the cushions so the boat does not look 'so 80s'. Offers it up as 'happy fathers day' for some OTHER dad. Here's hoping her husband has a happy father's day. Geez.

This would make a fabulous Father's Day Gift for anyone wanting a sailboat. We are selling my husband's sailboat. 1988 Beneteau First 235 - 24' boat. It has a good motor and several types and sizes of sails and down stairs it has a table that makes into a big bed and a place upfront for another bed. So it sleeps 4. Microwave and fridge. Potty but no shower. I think it holds about 6 people up top and I really don't know how many downstairs. I have re-upholstered some of the seating cushions downstairs to make it look "not so 80's" and will have all the cushions done by the time you are ready for it. Unless you don't care and then I won't go to the trouble.
I have been bugging him to sell it for a couple of years and he finally said yes. Everything runs good on it an he has maintained it but unfortunately we (family) don't enjoy going with him to sail and he doesn't get to go as often as he wants. Time to sell. If you want a good small well-handling sailboat at a good price give us a holler. Easy to sail, the kids even did it with my husband's help. It comes with a trailer and is ready to sail. If you buy this boat and need a him to show you how to sail it he'll throw in a couple of lessons for free. If you need more info, more pictures or want to go look at it just contact us. _________________ Clay Babcock

I can't believe it's real, and I though I had it bad.
Sell the Stainless Steel Appliances and the Beamer together with this add. _________________ 1992 Wing Hull #421 |
