Attractive price! You just have to go to Martha's Vineyard to look at it. _________________ Jeannette

Called today and this 285 was sold. I never got to see any actual
pictures of the boat for sale. The ad claimed the boat was in excellent condition. Hard to believe at 18k, but it looks to have been a fast seller.
Well, now I don't have to stress about life without a plumb bow. _________________ Mark

the 285 looks like it would be better suited to sails with my older father aboard, with more room in the cockpit and I hope, more boom clearance?
(Also hoping my new boom kicker will help with that on the 235).
Does anyone know why Finot decided to use the plumb bow on the 235 and not on the 285? What would the advantage be? So many other design elements are quite similar. Also, the 285 that just sold looks like it might have been a tiller 285, which could have been fun.
Ah, well, back to my upgrades. _________________ Mark
