I have a 39 foot Freedom Yachts Pilothouse Schooner listed with a broker at 44,000 dollars at less than half the price of the next Freedom 39 listed. If anyone wants to deal with me direct and trade up their well cared for F235 (or beater 235 for a lower trade in credit) I would be really interested. here are some pics of my boat, currently residing on its new included folding steel cradle in Penetanguishene Ontario

Any F235 owners want to trade up to a globe trotting capable floating hotel with shower, hot water, windlass, four steering systems, three propulsion system, forward looking sonar, radar juggernaut for a mere 29,000 dollars? Thanks Jon, yeah the sails are actually original but they are in such good shape that Haarstick actually uses a picture of them on their website to promote the quality and longevity of their work.
Funny story about us selling our boat, we used to have a Bavaria 820 (26.5 footer) and it was great but I was too big (350 lbs) to fit through to the v berth and head. So we bought this relative cruise ship so I could fit everywhere comfortably. Now that I weigh only 190 (after Duodenal Switch Surgery last summer) (if anyone is also burdened by obesity and wants to do something that for sure will work about it, check out my story here: http://www.obesityhelp.com/member/collingwooded/ ) we feel that for daysailing this ship is too much, especially with two young kids taking one parent out of the crew equation making single handed docking a tall task. We want something small and even better, trailerable for weekend trips up to the North Channel of Lake huron. The F235 seems to fit the bill perfectly, not to mention it is the most attractive looking sailboat anywhere near its size.

It really is a nice boat. I would take you up on the trade, but I will not be ready to make that jump for about five years.
