				|
 |
				| We have decided to sell our F235. Lokahi has served us well and is a very clean, well-maintained 1989 wing-keeled “Liberty Edition” version of this great little boat. She comes with 2006 North racing sails (Nordac 5.8 main, 150 Mylar genoa, code 2S Contender Superlite .5 oz spinnaker cut to a 10% penalty pole). Also included are the original sails which are still in good condition. Primary winches are aluminum Lewmar self-tailing. All running gear replaced in 2006, including Layline spinnaker pole, Layline companionway spinnaker bag, and spinlock halyard locks for main, headsail, spinnaker, and pole topping lift. Two outboard motors are included; a 2006 Yamaha four-stroke 4 HP, and a 1997 Honda four-stroke 8 HP extra long shaft (25”). Shoreline single-axle trailer is also included.
Lokahi is in excellent condition and ready for competitive PHRF racing or fun family sailing.

 Offered at $12,500

Price includes packing on the included trailer and delivery within 500 miles of Asheville, NC.

Two hours away turned out a little too far for us to enjoy her as much as we wanted to. Moving on for now, but will probably get a one-design dingy in a year or so.

 Cheers!

				| Man, I would love to buy her, and sell my boat in the water! heh... I wish I could work it out. Sorry to see you sell, Kevin.
Hey, you doing a Blue Ridge bike touring deal? I've been riding close to 35 miles a day and am totally hooked. My 74 Raleigh Pro is really geared for flats and I have an '80 Bianchi that's moving to Fixed Gear status. I have a Cinelli SuperCorsa frame that might be geared for something steeper than 1 degree! heh...

Whoa - those are some classic rides. My wife has a Bianchi and loves it. Haven't started the tours yet, but if you make it up here we can certainly find a few hills to get the 'ole heart pumping!

Thanks Mike! She's really exceptional for an almost 20 year old boat. We really hate to part with her.

The original interior vinyl liner is even still all adhered with the exception of a small area behind the port shroud rod - I just never got to that project.

				| It's so refreshing to see someone clean their boat and take pride in her before a sale. That has to be one of the cleanest First 235s I've seen in a long time. If I had a few extra ducats floating about, I'd sell mine and go with yours in a second.
Would love to ride up your way in the spring but I'd need different gearing!

				| Damn, your boat looks awesome. For that kind of shape and price it want be yours long. Good luck. Oh yea seeing your pics reminds me. Do all the 235's come minus the cushion to cover the rear part of the table? _________________

 Thanks!

Unless a custom cushion was made, I believe so.

it's debatable. see some information here: http://beneteau235.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=362&highlight=cushion

mine had neither the head cushion nor the salon cushion. a good friend made one for me, and embroidered a small sailboat on it.

for you potential buyers.. I have sailed on lokahi and with the new racing sail Kevin got for her she screams. Smoked me when we raced at bald head in 2006. a month later I crewed on her and she is nice.. also as the pictures illustrate she is in like new condition below also.

Thanks Scott! We will miss the little boat - it looks like it will be going up to Columbus, OH.

We just came back from the BHIR. This year not racing, but taking pics. Was a lot of fun.

 How's Sea Puppy?

				| Sea Puppy is on the hard for the year, I gave up my slip.. I'm recouping financially for a while... little longer than I planned with the economy the way it is..
however the silver lining is that she is now at the house near the workshop so I have power and tools at hand to do all the little things I have been wanting to do. So she is getting an interior makeover and also maybe some work to the standing rigging and mast as well as a new easy up and down mast system.

for some reason Rona at BHIR never sent our club notice of race... I didn't realize it was this past weekend till some one told me the thursday before hand.

I might be putting sea puppy in the water for 4 or 5 days to race in the NC/SC Govenors cup in june though.

So is it work taking you to Ohio? There should be some lakes up there to sail on!!! hate to see you sell Lokahi.. she is a very sweet boat.
