|
1988 Beneteau First 235 “Rusalka” (Hull 213) Wing keel
Boat has been very lightly used, not raced, and is in very good condition. Very clean interior with no mold or signs of leakage.
• New Portlights (2000)
• Depth Gauge and Knotmeter (2005)
• New Lifelines (2006)
• New UK Roller Furling Genoa (2001 - hardly used)
• Doyle Stackpack Main (good condition)
• Honda 9.9 Four Stroke w/extra-long shaft, electric start, and charger (Regular Service)
• New AGM (glass-mat) battery (2005)
Photos available (by e-mail) on request. (I'd hoped to include one in this posting, but I'm a novice at digital photography and need to figure out how to reduce the size.) Let me know if there's a particular shot you'd like to see, and I'll have it in a day or two.
Boat is on the hard at Bert Jabin's Yacht Yard in Annapolis. I'm available to show her most nights and weekends so feel free to call or e-mail me (thannapolis@verizon.net or 410.990.1610) if you'd like to take a look. Contact me as well if you have any questions.
Asking $12,000. (now at $10,000) _________________ Hull#213 - Rusalka |

Welcome to the forum. Looks like a nice boat.
Send me an overall pic via email and I'll get her in below.

Very nice looking boat if I may say so. Obviously, I dig the clean, minimal approach, sans sticker shock.

Anybody have any idea how much it costs to ship one of these boats? For this particular one, it'd be about 550 miles and across the Canadian border.
Speaking of which, anybody know what's involved in exporting a F235 to Canada?
Thanks,

Have a look at the F235 Directory (see link at top right of this page) to find F235s located in Canada - then, for those that offer it, follow the link to send an email or PM to Canadian owners to see if they have personal experience with importing an F235 recently. It's certainly not too far for you to consider going and getting it yourself. Maybe one of the CAN owners near-ish to you has a trailer they'd be willing to loan you, making it possible to go and get it. If you think you'll need your own trailer, you could buy the boat and pick it up after having a basic trailer made near you, or near where the boat is now (~$US3-3.5K).
Good luck. _________________ Neil Quigley

I did import my F235 into Canada several years ago. It was a very straight forward process to export from the US and import to Canada. Just a half hour or so at the border, a basic declaration form and payment of the GST. If you want to send me a PM I can give you more details offline. _________________ Joe

It helps to have great cooperation from the current owner. We've had several members export boats to EU and to AUS. There have been threads/posts in the subject. One such dealing turned really sour but others have been successful. _________________ Kelly Holsten abstrait
