My friend purchased the boat and plans to take delivery in FEB/MAR. She will be sailed out of Hampton, Va.

I'm willing to bet that's the only camouflage Beneteau in existence... rock on!

Brad -- if you make it down there I'd love to hear about it. And if you see any trailers loitering around there that might fit a 285 wing, I'd be interested in that too : ) !!

Yeah, I'm still looking at winter's worth of small projects on my boat too, don't know why I was looking at other fixer uppers either!

Thing is, bottom jobs and headliners are WHENs, not IFs. And really sails are too. I think that boat is definitely worth fixing.
Used and usable small outboards also pop up on craigslist or wherever ...
