It was 75 degrees and 10knts here today at Wrightsville Beach, NC, this in December. What better time to clear the
cobwebs and head for a solo ocean sail. There were Dolphin, a sea turtle, many a pelican, and Grebe Galore.
One of the benefits of working half the night? If the day calls, sometimes you just go.

A few miles offshore, all memories of thy computer keyboard are gone - A mile out, leaving Masonboro Inlet...

Now 1.5 miles out. 2nd beer gone. Dont you love the socks? heh... I had literally stood up from my work computer,
socks on from errand, slipped the Topsiders on, and walked to boat... Does it get any better?

It's at this stage where you walk around the boat and feel just how lucky you are... several miles offshore and your world is gone....
